First Day in CR

     We awoke surprising early, thanks PJ, and we walked next door for our first authentic Costa Rican breakfast of rice and black beans, ham, fried plantains and an egg, accompanied by the freshest orange juice we've had. The coffee was excellent as well. Fantastic!
          We then explored to find some "staples" (beer and water--AND rafts for the pool) at a local tienda and then hit the pool. Our first day we almost fell asleep on our deck chairs, but luckily the sweat in my eyes woke me up and we moved inside. We were well liquidated and our bed would not let us NOT get in. We crashed hard after our long travel day, and woke up about 4 hours later. Dark again, damn, missed the sunset! We realized we didn't have any lunch so we walked across the street (30 meters) to a pizza place before it closed at 9 pm. We had our pizza and chilled with our feet in the pool before we had to crash again. First day, awesome!
