Travel day to Playa Grande

We had clouds and light rain for our last breakfast in Playa Hermosa. We loaded the car and set out heading south, and we wanted to take the coastal "highway" to Playa Grande. Our usually reliable GG had us cussing her not far into the trip, as she was trying to send us down dirt roads to turn around. Taking our "we know what we are doing" stance, we told her to pound dirt for a stretch. We believed we were on the right road and we made the correct choices as we proceeded. We stopped at six beautiful beaches on our way...

I was gawking at the 3 other beaches and wasn't able to get out for pics as we did drive bys.
Sharon is a navigational champion and we arrived at Rip Jack Inn early afternoon.

Our first look at Playa Grande, 100 yards on a footpath through the jungle from our room.

As Jerry Jerome used to say, "Red sky at night, sailors delight"; so we know we will have a great day tomorrow...thanks Dad!

All good Kevin, been biking a lot and getting some reading done which has been fun. And kind of planning what I will be doing in the fall I still have a few options but I’m exploring as far as work. Be careful of those monkeys!When we were out there the small ones I can’t remember the names would grab anything people put down and run I’ll put it into the forest backpacks hats towels. Stay safe and look forward to continuing following your journeys take care.
